Tony sings for me&dee
Tony makes music for me&dee
Tony Mulcahy has decided to help me&dee by putting together a CD of songs with all proceeds going to the charity, here is his story.
Towards the end of 2019 I set my mind to putting together another album; the first one being a single album recorded back in 2012. Deciding on which charity to choose was initially difficult, naturally because there are so many worthy charities around.
It’s always been my aim to find local charities to support and I was delighted to find me&dee, such a worthwhile charity
I have put this double album together using a local studio, relying on local friends to help sponsor the studio time and eventually after a great deal of hard work and sleepless nights putting together and manufacturing the album, it’s complete.
‘If Tomorrow Never Comes’ is an apt title for this album, originally released by country megastar, Garth Brooks, it’s a song about taking nothing for granted in life and I certainly couldn’t of made it without the tremendous help of all the great people who are acknowledged on the CD inlay card but most especially Nick Ayre and Keith B. Large.
The choice of songs was a nightmare at times, but I do hope those that buy the CD appreciate my choice and console themselves with the fact that purchasing the CD will make a big difference to children with life changing, life shortening or terminal illness.
I thank you so much and hope that a few of my chosen songs bring back happy memories to you all.
All the best, Tony Mulcahy.
Tony hasn’t been able to market the CD as he would have wished because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. He hopes that those that are reading this will help by sharing this information with friends and relatives and purchasing a copy.
