DNS 2500km Challenge Completed!

Document Network Services who are based on Pride Park in Derby, have completed their 2500km Challenge for me&dee, raising an enormous £3,172.00 in the process!

Maria and Mark were invited along to see the final few km completed by Hugh and Elliott running around Pride Park in Hope the Elephant costumes no less, rather sweaty when they finished.

They were joined by our junior Ambassador, Taylor, his mum and grandma who had a great time meeting the staff of DNS, Taylor was kept busy by Elliott, kicking a signed Derby County Football around which was then presented to Taylor along with a signed DCFC shirt, a gift which put a huge smile on his face.

Managing Director Darren Marsh said this;

“We are extremely proud to support the incredible work that me&dee charity do. From the second we heard their story we wanted to help in any way we could.

We decided to take on the 2,500km Challenge to encourage our team to work together in order to not only celebrate our 25 years in business anniversary but also raise as much money & awareness as possible for me&dee.

The whole team have taken on the challenge and we are so overjoyed by the fact we travelled for 299 hours (12 days) in total and a distance of 2,823km!

Our event ended with a grand finale of Hugh & Elliott running around Pride Park as Hope the Memory Elephant. It was lovely to meet the Super Junior Champion Taylor and his family as well as have both Maria & Mark here too. They have helped Taylor’s family tremendously (much like they have many other families) and it was amazing to see the bond they all have.

We hope the £3,172 we raised makes a difference. We are so proud to call ourselves #MemoryMakers”
