Daz and Ness Rayner set up a fantastic event in support of me&dee which fell foul to the lockdown, just one week before it was due to take place!

The event was under the banner of ‘Les Mills Combat Marathon’ three hours of fun and workouts for people to enjoy and was due to be held at the Greenbank Leisure Centre.

Here is what Ness had to say; “Daz and I run Simply Nutrition in the Burton-on-Trent area and we were planning a 3 hour body combat event to raise money for me&dee fuelled by Herbalife Nutrition”.

“Unfortunately the original date had to be postponed due to current circumstance with COVID-19 but it will definitely go ahead in the future as we have had many of our regular combat guys already purchase tickets to participate”.

She continues; “Even though the event hasn’t yet taken place these wonderful people were more than happy for us to give to the charity in advance. They were all touched and warmed by the work that me&dee do and the magic you bring to families that need that bit sprinkle of magic fairy dust”.

These amazing people managed to raise £500 which was a welcome amount in the current climate and was warmly welcomed by the charity founder, Maria Hanson MBE.
