" Maria, I wanted to let you know how important you and Me&Dee have become in our life... I wanted to write and let you know exactly what makes you so special. Until we met you, we felt in a wilderness. There were many charities that catered for children with cancer...However, we always seemed to be outside these charities remits.. we felt very alone.

The day we were introduced to you changed all that. From the very first moment I spoke to you, I felt that you understood. The treat that you arranged for him was amazing. He loved every second of it and he was truly grateful. What made it special, was that Alex felt you personally were involved and you were interested in how his day went. Enough for him to want to arrange a fundraiser for Me&Dee.. even though he was still in recovery. He and his friends are currently arranging another one.. and for teenage boys.. that is amazing.

When I went to school to talk to the children about Me&Dee, I felt I was telling them about a friend .. This is the thing that makes you and Me&Dee so unique.. we don't simply get a wish.. we get a wish and a friend for life. and through that friendship, we can recommend other people who not only need that wish, but who we know would benefit from coming into contact with you.

2010 was the worst year of my life. I had to endure things I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. But because of that, I met you and your wonderful charity.. and that was simply the hilight of the year. Don't ever change.. what you have is unique and amazing. With all the publicity from the Secret Millionaire.. I am sure many other people will want to be part of your wonderful world.. but please remember.. the special part of this charity is you.. and knowing that you are there whenever you are needed is a wonderful gift.

Cameron meets Jeff Hardy

I just wanted to let you know we went to TNA today and it was the most amazing experience ever !! Jeff Hardy is renowned for his fancy facepaint when he wrestles and he took the time to recreate it on Cameron !! Cameron was shaking from head to toe the whole time but with the most amazing smile on his face ! The lady who was looking after us even made sure the other boys got to meet their favourite wrestler and all 4 kids got a tshirt it truly was over and above anything I could of even dreamed of ! Jeff Hardy spent a good 20 minutes with us all and was just amazing. I really dont know what else to say to you you made all my children really beyond happy tonight and words fail me as Thank you really isnt enough. A fantastic memory ill treasure forever.

It meant a lot not to have to go through hoops to prove Cameron's illness - filling in long forms and having to accept that Cameron fits the stringent criteria's asked for - it was simple with Me&Dee, and personal, which meant a lot.

Laptop adaptor

Dear Maria, I just wanted to let you know that Jessica's lap top adapter arrived last week but Jessica was much too ill to let me know. I thank you for your kindness and can't tell you how much it means to both Jessica and myself. Take care. Our best wishes and love, Kate

Sarah Bray Drummond

Oh Maria you are an absolute angel!! I was looking at Lewis Mighty's pic today of his trip and how happy does that little boy look!!! You did that!!! Ted will be so so excited, we have tears every single day because he can't play the older kids. He asks me when they have gone to school because he thinks then I will let him. I will most definitely take photos, and you can use them for whatever you wish with our absolute blessing!! Thank you so much Love Sarah, John and Ted xxxx

New bedding for Grace

Hi Maria, Grace's gorgeous bedding arrived to day, it is all just beautiful and I just want to say a great big thank you to you for arranging this treat for my beautiful girl... It arrived at 7'oclock, so when she is at school tom, I will put it all together so it will be a big surprise when she gets home.... Thank you again for everything. Love Helen.x x x x x

A pink one for Ruby

Hello Maria! Wow thats amazing, I am so so excited for Ruby, she is going to be over the moon and is going to enjoy it so much! Its funny, we were looking at the pink one in argos a few weeks ago!! She kept asking about getting one since! I will have to send you a few pictures of her enjoying herself in it. I think its wonderful what you do and you really make a difference to people's lives! I just cant wait to see her face!

Centre Parcs

Hi Maria, just to let you know had all the info through from Centre Parcs, Abbie is having a facial and she is so excited. Thank you again this is going to be a wonderful day for her and me and Helen! I will take lots of photos throughout the day abd send them to you, love Mandy x

Frankie and Benny

Maria, I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful Frankie and Benny Vouchers... Alex decided to use them yesterday for a family Fathers Day Meal (canny boy worked out that fathers ate free, so we could all have a "free" meal!!) So I wanted to send a picture of Lizzie, Nat and Alex - in one of their favourite places, doing what "Normal" familes do ..... and Alex said it was one of the best meals he has had there!!! Thank you so much.... we really really appreciate what you do.. Alex's school are having a dance marathon to raise money for Me&Dee..I will keep you posted on the success... they now have a committee and I am going into assembly to explain all about your wonderful work!!
