Support

me & dee will be sending 84 families for sea side breaks to make treasured memories at a cost of

£200 each family this year. 20 people with just £10 each can make a very special wish come true.

You can organise your own 'come dine with me (&dee) event. We have a logo and can produce invitations

for you. This can be as simple as asking friends round for coffee, organising a coffee morning, charging

friends for a meal, organsising a sale of cakes at events to asking local pubs and restaurants to prepare

a meal where extra can be charge to make the donation to me&dee. Raffles can be held too.

Remember - for me&dee every £10 counts - and we will acknowledge this with a certificate -

and tell you exactly where the funds have gone. £10 will cover an essential 'comfort pack' and twenty

£10's will allow a very special moment experience to happen for when time is precious.

If you are interested in supporting Me&Dee by fundraising or donating, please contact us.

You may also follow the link on the website to donate - with your help, we can make a difference.

There are other ways to support me&dee apart from donating to our funds. You may be in a position to offer the means of a special moment treat.

Karen from Proctors at Stoke on Trent arranged for five children to have a ride in their American style truck, and to go to the Monkey Forest at Trentham Gardens with lunch provided and also donated raffle and auction prizes.

Supporters who have won or acquired vouchers for days out and relaxation days, theatre trips  etc. have donated them to us to give as treats.

Wayne and Vicky from Burryport donated time at their apartments by the sea to give invaluable and extremely needed holidays for four families this year, and have offered the same next year.

These are treats that money can't buy, as was a dream day offered by Burton Albion.

RECENT EXAMPLES OF FUNDRAISING

Natalie Allen and Maria

Our main sponsor of 2012 was Natalie Allen, owner of Harvey Luke Hair

Natalie, Woman Business Owner Award Finalist 2012, held a ball for more than 300 guests in May 2012 raising a staggering £10,000. Me&dee is self funding and relies heavily on sponsorship and support to cover 20 nominations a month, our hospice and oncology ward work and our valued and very much needed comfort pack scheme. NATALIE’S FUND RAISING AND SUPPORT COVERED 3 FULL MONTHS OF ME&DEE COMMITTED WORK.

CHANTELLE BEAUMONT

Chantelle Beaumont has 35 inches cut off her hair - she raised £1000 in sponsorship money and donated her

hair to the Little Princess Charity who make wigs for children who have lost their hair through treatment.

Her hair was cut by me&dee supporter Natalie Allen at her Harvey Luke Salon, and Ben Davies from

Derby County joined us. He is Chantelle's hero and he and his wife Lisa brought her a lovely bouquet of flowers.

ALEX REID AND JACK DRIVER
These two dedicated boys have raised a remarkable £1.500 to allow 15 special moment treats,

as they received, to be created.

BARCLAYS BANK

Barclays Bank in Derby held a car wash and raised a fantastic £350 which is matched by Barclays - allowing us to arrange seven special moments from their donation, and a ladies indulgence night raising a further £350. Me&Dee is Barclays chosen charity to support this year, with thanks to Ann Beadsmore & staff.

BARDON AGGREGATES
Staff took part in the gruelling 3 peaks challenge, raising more than £2,000 for Me&Dee followed by a cheque presentation and tour of the site and offices, along with lunch organised by David - shown are James Hatherley and Jack Hawksworth.

Several donations have been made through activities such as fun runs, walks and sponsored events, such as a half marathon run by Krystal Webster and the midlands fun run by Joely Smith.

Personal donations have been made, along with collections, and through the sale of Me&Dee pin badges. If you are interested in having a box of badges to sell, please contact us.

Other donations come through employees on a 'salary sacrifice' scheme where they have a direct debit and donate monthly into me&dee. If you would like to set up an event, and would like literature, displays stands and merchandise, we look forward to hearing from you.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helps to support me&dee in any way, it is so much appreciated. All donations collected for our comfort packs, including a huge load from Anita Gregory,

are also greatly appreciated.
